Kapitel — Three new chapters in the story of Scandinavia
Some of our regular readers might have noticed that every few months we send out a survey to ask what types of products you would like to see from Skandinavisk. Your requests are very consistent and always start with the same thing – perfume sprays for the skin.
Then, last spring, Stéphane and I visited Norway to seek scent inspiration for a new collection. We found it in the fruit trails and brackish shoreline of Hardangerfjord and subsequently created six new scents inspired by the trip which we then asked you, our readers, to help in the testing process.
Eighteen volunteers were selected, samples were sent, and one favourite fragrance emerged. We went back to work to develop the concept, rapidly concluded your favourite needed to be complemented by other similarly profound experiences of Scandinavia, and a new collection was born.
So it gives us great pleasure to introduce three Eau de Toilette sprays, and three new fragrance chapters in the story of Scandinavia, launching exclusively from today, October 1st, at our concept store in Selfridges London and online at skandinavisk.com.
Each chapter, locally known as ‘Kapitel’, echoes the chronology of our own twenty year journey across Scandinavia by reinterpreting three adventures precious to life in the north.
